Weber is set to experience record growth for 2017-2018. Preparations are underway for a school of more than 270 students and a record freshman class of more than 70 students!
Rise Arkin, Director of Admissions, notes that, "The strength of our Student Ambassador program is a huge factor in our success. Juniors Rachel Kaplan, Mallory Nathan, and Mollie Schwarz have spearheaded several initiatives to expand the program and increase communication with new students. There is something to be said about students who are so happy at Weber that they're personally invested in attracting new students."
With the growth of the student population, Weber will continue to increase opportunities and programs in academics, athletics, and student life. The administration has created a Faculty Task Force and is is working directly with faculty, staff, and students to plan for next year's expansion. Head of School, Rabbi Ed Harwitz shares, "We are actively planning to serve a larger community of students in ways that advance Weber's mission and maintain our tradition of academic excellence in a warm, vibrant Jewish community."
