Annual Campaign/Special Events Manager
The major responsibility of the Annual Campaign/Special Events Coordinator
is to plan and lead the School’s annual campaign, special events and serve as administrative support to the Board of Trustees under the supervision of the Associate Head of School, C.O.O
Bachelor’s degree and a three to five year proven track record of fund development, preferably in a private school setting.
Experience in designing and implementing annual campaigns and event planning
Capacity to assume leadership roles, work independently, and to take initiative in start-up enterprises.
Ability to embrace and affirm the mission of the School.
Thorough knowledge of development database systems and issues. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge is a plus.
Experience in training, motivating and managing volunteers.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Expertise in developing long-range fundraising and communication strategies.
Managerial skills to ensure the effective and efficient use of personnel and other resources.
People-skills and the ability to work in a team with administrative and professional staff, volunteers, and lay leaders.
Enjoyment of working with teenagers.
Jewish background and knowledge a plus, but not essential.
