Annual Giving
Thank you for your interest in
supporting The Weber School's Annual Giving campaign. The investment you make today enables us to prepare
Weber students to be knowledgeable, thinking, responsible Jewish adults of
tomorrow.
What is new about this year’s Annual
Giving campaign?
As we kick off Annual Giving for the 2009-2010 academic year, we are
making a significant change to the way we do business. This year, we have one comprehensive appeal for our annual fundraising effort to
support operations and allow us to sustain a strong and vibrant Weber School. Out of respect to you our donors and in
recognition of the tough economical environment, we want to ensure that we
maximize the dollars raised. To that
end, this is our only annual request - there will be no additional fundraising
events (i.e. Evening of Honor, tribute journal.) Rather, we are focusing exclusively on Annual
Giving and asking the Weber community – parents, grandparents, alumni and
friends – to give generously to help sustain and strengthen our mission for the
entire year.
Where do Annual Giving funds go?
The Annual Giving Campaign supports the School's day to day
needs and operations. Like most private schools, tuition alone does
not cover the costs of the outstanding education children receive at The Weber
School. Contributions
raised through Annual Giving are for immediate use, and are typically
unrestricted so that they may be directed where needed most. Annual Giving
funds help The Weber School:
- Attract and
retain the highest caliber teachers, coaches and staff
- Strengthen and
expand its academic, fine arts and athletics programs
- Provide
necessary information technology and expand the library collection
- Minimize
tuition increases
- Enhance the
educational environment with unique programs such as Shabbatonim, holiday
programming and Integrated Arts Education
The Weber School
appreciates gifts of any amount.
Large or small, each gift to the Annual Giving campaign
is meaningful, and every member of The Weber School community is asked to give.
One of Annual Giving’s goals is to achieve 100% participation from each of the
School's natural constituents: its families, staff, faculty and Board of
Trustees. Giving from those who know the school best is an extremely important
indicator of Weber's strength, and an important endorsement for those in the
broader community considering a gift to the School.
Annual Giving directly impacts The Weber
School's programs and culture, translating into an enriched educational
experience for students. Because of this, we ask that you make The Weber School
Annual Giving a priority and give thoughtful consideration to your level of
support. Click here to download
