Hakhel / Morning Program

The Weber School gathers together as a community once or twice weekly for informal educational programming.  We invite guests from the community to share their stories; we commemorate holidays together; students share their views on current events; student council runs town hall meetings; and we address issues that are important to our students. 

Previous Programs and Guests Include:

  • Guest speakers from the JCC, Israel programs, and other organizations
  • JSA panel discussion on the environment, political campaigning, and health care
  • Adamah Adventures
  • Visits from local rabbis including Rabbi Paul Kerbel, Rabbi Ephraim Silverman, Rabbi Marshall Lesack, Rabbi Hillel Norry, Rabbi Adam Starr, and Rabbi Josh Heller.
  • Islamic Speakers Bureau
  • Representative from the Atlanta Community Food Bank
  • Local organic farmer
  • JServe
