Shanah Tovah from Rabbi Ed Harwitz
Shanah Tovah from Rabbi Ed Harwitz

During the coming days, Jews throughout the world will celebrate Rosh HaShanah with the sounding of the Shofar—a sound that calls us to a higher aspiration and asks us to commit ourselves to a year that is not only pleasant but filled with meaning, purpose and service to causes greater than our own self interest.

At The Weber School, students and teachers work to leverage teaching and learning in an effort to fulfill the highest aspirations represented by the call of the Shofar. I feel blessed every day to work with a uniquely dedicated and creative faculty and staff, committed and energetic students, supportive and engaged parents, and a broader Jewish community that recognizes and invests in the Weber School.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I thank our parents for the confidence and trust that you place in us as we educate and guide your students through their teenage years. Working together, the new year of 5780 promises to be a time where all of us at Weber create and experience new and exciting opportunities only available here- #onlyatweber.

With deep appreciation and gratitude, I wish the entire Weber School community a Shanah Tovah u'metukah -- best wishes for a happy and sweet new year, one filled with continued growth and positive change.
