HEADLINES ![]() MESSAGE FROM RABBI ED HARWITZ, HEAD OF SCHOOL
In the Talmud, our Rabbis charge us to display our Hanukkah lights publicly in an effort to "pirsumah de'nisah" and actively promote and celebrate the miracles of Hanukkah. In that spirit, Hanukkah causes me every year to appreciate the miracles that I experience in my life –- none more prominent and meaningful than those in our own Weber School community:
Hag Urim Sameach -- best wishes for a Happy Hanukkah filled with light and a holiday season filled with joy and peace. ![]() "Happiness is anyone or anything at all that's loved by you."
Visit our virtual playbill for details, cast bios, and links!
![]() Students in "Things That Go Bump In The Night," an interdisciplinary Jewish Studies and Art course co-taught by Rabbi Moshe Sokol and Artist-in-Residence Cheryl Myrbo, recently studied witches and sorcery in Rabbinic literature, comparing them to the witch trials in England and Salem and witch "hunts" such as McCarthyism.
Kol Hakavod to our student artists: Emily Berman, Anna Bauman, Molly Fisher, Harris Jacobs, Zachary Kurtz, Andrew Levingston, Ilana Levenberg, Hope Lindner, Alexa Mittleman, Cece Robison, Jason Sherman, Connor Voynich, and Hailey Weiss. The student's final pieces are on display on the second floor.
