The past year has been one of tremendous growth, progress, and promise for our students, faculty, and families. New academic, athletic, arts and enrichment programs add to a school environment that fosters our students’ abundant curiosity, intellect, drive for excellence, and dedication to the Jewish people. Our enrollment likewise continues to grow as we serve more families of the Atlanta Jewish community.
We are fortunate to have generous support from students, parents, alums, and the entire Atlanta Jewish community who worked together to raise $1,676,029 for the 2021-2022 Weber Fund. We are likewise grateful to the Zalik Foundation for their transformative $19 million grant to support the retention and recruitment of top educational professionals, enhancements in curriculum and programming, and expansion of our facilities to include a state-of-the-art performing arts center and a matching grant for a world-class athletic complex.
A special thanks to this year’s campaign chairs, Leslie Moradi, Mark Kopkin, and Fred Wachter, who, with the continued leadership of Tamar Stern, most ably led our fund-raising efforts this year. They each gave of themselves, and their devoted leadership resulted in our achieving a record annual campaign. We are grateful for their leadership, energy, friendship, and support.
As President and on behalf of the Weber Board of Trustees, I thank you for your support this past year and look forward to continuing to build on our success for this amazing School.
