Kol HaKavod to The Weber School's Varsity Boys Basketball, who won the Region Tournament Play-In game against Atlanta International School earlier this week. The victory allowed them to advance to the Quarterfinals, where they faced off against the formidable #1 seed Mount Vernon. Although the team ultimately fell short in their bid for a historic victory against Mount Vernon, Coach Tasha Humphrey believes that Weber Basketball is ready to compete at the highest level, saying, “Coach Baker and I have worked tirelessly to instill in our players the belief that they can compete with the best teams out there. Caleb Ouanounou has been integral in building this foundation with his dedication and hard work, and he has helped change the trajectory of our basketball program. While we fell short in the Quarterfinals, we carried with us Eitan's heart, passion, and spirit, which allowed us to accomplish great things on the court. I am incredibly proud of what we achieved as a team this season."

Two of the team's standout players, senior Caleb Ouanounou and junior Harry Kitey, were named to the All-Region basketball team, Caleb, for the second time while playing for Weber. The All-Region team is selected through a vote by coaches in the region, and this honor is a testament to their skill and hard work on the court.
