Welcome Back!

Orientation, opening day, and the first week of school were huge successes as we welcomed new and returning students, faculty, and staff with fun activities, special Kehillahs, and exciting programming!

Under the guidance of Weber's Director of Student Support and Enrichment Jordan Crawford and Grade Level Deans Charlie McQuade and Carrie Runnels, New Student Orientation helped ease new students' transition to Weber with two days of activities. Orientation began with a New Student Kickoff social at Main Event, followed the next day by getting acclimated to the school with discussions and activities with various faculty and Peer Leaders and spending time making connections with their new classmates.

The year kicked off with last Friday's "Back To Weber" Kehillah, featuring warm welcomes from Head of School Rabbi Ed Harwitz and Principal Shlaina Van Dyke, and a musical performance featuring senior Liana Bernstein and Music Program Director Drew Cohen. The energy and excitement were palpable as this year's Weber Student Council introduced the faculty and each grade to the school, filling the basement with raucous cheering for this year's record-breaking 290 student enrollment!
