Anatomy Students Flex their Muscles

Last semester’s culminating assignment for Sally Murphy’s Anatomy classes required students to create a research-based project applying their knowledge of the musculoskeletal system in a practical and meaningful way while encouraging creativity and critical thinking. Students could choose from four project options:
  • Create a Personal Trainer Workout Program
  • Design a Muscular System Workbook (an educational booklet on the muscles)
  • Design a Medication for a Musculoskeletal Condition
  • Create a Portfolio for the Skeletal and Muscular Systems
The submissions were entertaining and informative, with highlights including the videos "Breaking Anatomy" by Daniel Leibowitz and "Inject Me" by Stevee Friedrich, a video portfolio by Jack Anderson, and a skeletal music video by Miriam Burmenko. Jacob Mark wrote a skeletal and muscle poem, while Izzy Wachter and Eliana Glusman created a personal trainer program.
