Kol HaKavod

Weber sophomore Levi Gordon has been attending flight school at Centennial Aviation Academy at Peachtree Dekalb Airport for the past several years. On a student's 16th birthday, they can take a "solo" flight if they have passed rigorous oral and written exams and accrued sufficient instructional hours in flight lessons. This incredible milestone allows these young aviators to fly a plane even before they have a driver's license! Though weather conditions prevented Levi from taking his solo flight on his 16th birthday, he completed his solo flight this past Sunday, moving one step closer to obtaining a private pilot's license, which he will be eligible for on his 17th birthday. Kol HaKavod, Levi!
