Reporting and Quarantine

All confirmed cases, suspected cases, or exposures to COVID-19 within the Weber school community will be reported to the Fulton County Board of Health (FCBH) for review and guidance.

Per an agreement between the school and Weber families as part of a forthcoming Infectious Disease Plan, Weber will inform families when a student or teacher in one of their child’s classes or sports teams tests positive for COVID-19.

When a student or member of the faculty or staff tests positive and/or shows symptoms of COVID-19,  The Weber School reserves the right and has sole discretion to require a quarantine period for any individual of at least ten (10) calendar days and/or until the affected person has been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication as confirmed by a physician.

Should a student or member of the faculty or staff be exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, The Weber School reserves the right and has sole discretion to require a quarantine period for any individual of at least fourteen (14) calendar days and/or until the affected person has been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication as confirmed by a physician.

While away from school, the affected individuals will learn and teach through Weber’s virtual learning program.
