2021-2022 Grade-Level Trips

While our students enjoy standard class-related field trips throughout the year, our grade-level overnight trips are unique to Weber. These trips provide opportunities for focused group cooperation, community building, and academics while simultaneously exposing the students to various cultural or historical sites.

2021 9th Grade Trip

Weber's freshman class traveled to Rock Eagle, where they participated in lake assessment field studies, team building challenge courses, and canoeing. The lake assessment field studies cemented the student's understanding of the scientific method and students will continue using the knowledge they gained during the trip with upcoming ecology lessons studying soil and water samples taken during the lake assessment. By taking the trip in the fall and participating in various team-building exercises, students had an early opportunity to develop a strong foundation for collaboration and communication with their peers while giving them a chance to navigate increased personal responsibility.
The Weber School, a Jewish Community high school serving students from all Jewish backgrounds, prepares students for success in college and in life with comprehensive academic and co-curricular programs that inspire student exploration, leadership, and Jewish social consciousness. Many of our programs and academies are unique to Weber and can't be found at any other Atlanta-area high schools.

The Felicia Penzell Weber Jewish Community High School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
