    DZA Open Lab

RSVP here to reserve your spot!

Open Lab is open to all community members ages 10 and up. During the event, you can work on a personal project in the Daniel Zalik Academy of Science, Technology, Engineering and Design at the Weber School. The Daniel Zalik Academy is the Weber School's fabrication and innovation lab. We have laser cutters, filament and resin 3D printers, a vinyl printer, mini mill, CNC machine and carpentry tools available to facilitate production of your next big or small idea. Our expert lab staff and student lab assistants will help you navigate how to make your next idea, be it a robotics project, newly engraved custom tumbler, or the next great business idea. We will provide all software/laptops you will need in order to make your idea while at the event.

Our second open lab for the spring semester will be held Thursday, March 7th from 3-7PM. We ask that you sign up in order for us to keep track of headcount and send you reminder emails. During this time, you may come anytime during the 4 hour time slot and stay for however long you want. Any students under the age of 12 will need to attend with an older sibling or a parent/guardian.

    Shabbaton Weekend

Weber's annual all-school Shabbaton allows our school community an opportunity to connect with each other outside the classroom. It's a unique experience where students and faculty actively engage in recreational activities, tefillah, and community building. This year's Shabbaton programming will include activities such as morning services, hiking, team sports, and student performances at "The Word" talent show.

We look forward to an exciting weekend that builds community and camaraderie at Weber. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
