FEATURING: Nichole Robinson, M.Ed., Ph.D.
Program Director, ADL Center for Antisemitism Research
In an era where social media can amplify both connection and division, the ADL Center for Antisemitism Research (CAR) is pioneering a transformative approach to fighting antisemitism, one grounded in rigorous scholarship, innovative interventions, and the power of positive narratives. CAR builds upon ADL's century-plus years of expertise through an applied research network that ensures studies are rigorous, accurate, and accessible.Part of CAR's groundbreaking work involves understanding not just how to counter hate, but how to amplify positive narratives about Jewish life and culture. By investigating which stories about Jews alleviate prejudice and testing interventions that cultivate empathy, CAR is building an evidence base for celebrating Jewish identity as an antidote to antisemitism.
Rather than letting hate dominate the conversation, we are learning how to center Jewish joy, resilience, and community as powerful counter-narratives. Together, we are not just studying antisemitism, we are engineering its decline, one evidence-based intervention at a time. And we are doing it by reclaiming social media as a space for education, connection, and the celebration of Jewish life.
