Get ready to be inspired at The Weber School’s Annual Karlin Design Expo! This remarkable event showcases an array of student-led projects in science, technology, and design, all developed in collaboration with The Daniel Zalik Academy (DZA). The expo offers an interactive and immersive experience, welcoming parents, students, and community members to explore and engage with our students’ innovative creations.
Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to experience student work with exhibits representing Human-Centered Design, Engineering and Design Studio, Digital Innovation Studio, Senior Design Capstone, Torah, Toolkits and Power Tools, Tech Theater, Ceramics, and Art. The event will also feature robotics demonstrations in the cafeteria, ceramics demonstrations in the ceramics studio, and the chance to explore the DZA lab, giving visitors an up-close look at the creativity, experimentation, and hands-on learning happening across disciplines at Weber.
The evening will culminate in presentations by Senior Design Capstone and AP Research students earning the DZA Honors Diploma recognition. This rigorous, year-long course challenges students to synthesize design thinking and the scientific method to address community needs. Through these presentations, students will share the process behind their work and demonstrate how curiosity, empathy, and innovation can come together to create meaningful impact both within the Weber community and beyond.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing our students' achievements during this inspiring event celebrating creativity, innovation, and the spirit of learning at Weber!
