Kol Hakavod to Juniors Sadie, Jackson, Abe, Jonah, Jagger, and Isaiah, who represented Weber with grace, maturity, and pride at this year’s American Jewish Committee Atlanta Unity Seder, an annual gathering that brings people of different faiths and backgrounds together around the shared themes of freedom, resilience, and connection. Weber’s student delegation was organized in partnership by Bernadette May Beaver, Director of The Michael Kay Israel Leadership Fellows, and Weber alum Sam Halpern ’18, Senior Associate, Advocacy & Programming for AJC Atlanta/Southeast. A special Kol Hakavod to Isaiah and Rabbi Adam Mayer, Weber’s Dean of Jewish Studies and Mashpia Ruchani, for their participation in the evening’s program. Their presence, along with the thoughtful way all our students participated throughout the evening, reflects the strength of Weber’s student leadership and the meaningful role our students and alumni play in the broader Jewish community.
