Weber’s spring athletes closed out the season with hard work, memorable wins, postseason appearances, and individual accomplishments that reflect the dedication and spirit of the Rams.
Boys Soccer finished a hard-fought season with an 8-8 record and advanced to the first round of the State Tournament. Along the way, the Rams earned several exciting wins, including a 1-0 victory over Northgate High School, a 3-1 win over Providence Christian, and a thrilling penalty-kick shootout victory over Mount Paran. Led by senior captain Matthew G. and junior captains Emmitt M. and David L., the team combined experienced leadership with a dedicated group of freshmen who helped build momentum for the future.
Girls Soccer advanced to the first round of the State Tournament and represented Weber with perseverance throughout a challenging season, gaining valuable experience that will help shape the program moving forward.
Baseball advanced to the first round of the State Tournament, closing out the season with determination and competitive spirit. The Rams battled through a challenging schedule and represented Weber with pride on the field.
Track & Field had a strong spring, with several Rams earning standout finishes and advancing to State competition. At the State meet, Eli C. finished 3rd in the 400m, while Nuriel S. earned 2nd place in both the 110m hurdles and the 300m hurdles and also qualified for State in high jump. Ryan K. placed 7th in the 110m hurdles and 6th in the 300m hurdles. Avery S. qualified for State in pole vault, and Zane G. qualified for State in high jump. The Boys 4x200m Relay team of Eli C., Zane G., Hayden P., and Joey M. finished 10th.
Golf wrapped up its season at the Area Tournament, where the team finished 7th out of 8. Individually, Zollie N. tied for 14th place, Zach G. tied for 18th, Brandon Y. tied for 22nd, Noah W. finished 40th, and Abram B. finished 45th out of 46 players. On the girls’ side, Alex H. had a strong showing, finishing 11th out of 22 competitors.
Boys Tennis put together a strong season, finishing 9-5 in the regular season and 10-7 overall. Guided by two senior captains and a talented senior class leading the singles lineup, the Rams competed with consistency and confidence, earning spots in both the Region and State Tournaments. Entering the State Tournament as the #17 seed, the team delivered an exciting upset victory over Atlanta International School to advance to the Sweet 16.
Several Boys Tennis players earned All-Region honors. Lior B. received Honorable Mention at 1 Singles, Jesse K. received Honorable Mention at 3 Singles, Ethan L. earned 2nd Team honors at 1 Doubles, Dillon G. received Honorable Mention at 1 Doubles, and Jake M. and Albert A. earned 2nd Team honors at 2 Doubles.
Girls Tennis advanced to the first round of the State Tournament and demonstrated dedication and growth throughout the season. With a strong emphasis on development, the players steadily improved their skills, confidence, and match play, laying important groundwork for the program’s future.
