The Weber Parents Group kicked off the first Wine & Design of the school year with a Rosh Hashanah themed evening of creativity in the Daniel Zalik Academy of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Design (DZA). Participants selected from a variety of designs and used the DZA’s fabrication tools to engrave personalized glass honey jars, perfect for ushering in a sweet new year.
Led by Madi Anderson, Director of Educational Operations and Community Partnerships, and Chris Chapman, Director of the Daniel Zalik Academy, the event gave parents a hands-on glimpse into the innovation, technology, and learning their students encounter every day. It also highlighted the DZA’s role as a communal resource, welcoming families into the space for shared experiences that blend creativity, connection, and Jewish celebration.
