Loud, Proud, and Can Cheer the Crowd!

For the first time in school history, Weber has a competition cheerleading team. "With student interest in sideline cheerleading growing every year, it was the perfect time to expand our cheer program." shared Associate Director of Athletics Jessica LaGala.

The team made their competition debut at last week's Dacula Cheerleading Competition."I'm excited for the future of the program given how strong the team was right out of the gates," said Coach LaGala. "The team performed more like experienced competitors rather than first-timers."

Cheer Team Captain senior Anna Wohlberg was also excited by the team's performance, saying, "The team has come so far. We have really bonded as a group, and as a result, everyone has improved their tumbling skills along the way."

The Weber Cheerleading Team competes two more times before moving to the Regional Competition in early February.
Congratulations to Cheer Team members Anna Wohlberg, Jordyn Starr, Lili Stadler, Ziv Ilan, Skylar Simon, Aiden Fladell, Sarah Ginsberg, Jolie Intro, Ava Moradi, Miriam Raggs, Elisa Rosenthal, Izzy Watcher, and Rachel Rusnak.
