Kol Hakavod

Kol HaKavod to Adrianna Castiglione, Elliott Furie, Ari Gordon, Shai Herscovici, Micah Kopelman, Brooke Maman, Adam Ress, Mollie Engler, and Tahel Shantzer, who had a great showing at the 2023 Moot Beit Din Shabbaton and competition! Moot Beit Din provides high school students with a first-hand look at the inner workings of the Jewish legal system and helps them hone their critical thinking skills by applying the ancient wisdom of Halakhah (Jewish law) to some of the most significant ethical issues of our time. Student teams are assigned a topic and collaborate to craft a written decision and oral argument based on rabbinic sources. They then present their ruling to a panel of judges.
