Weber’s spring athletes closed out the season with strong performances, exciting playoff runs, and moments of individual and team excellence that reflect the heart and determination of the Rams.
Boys Soccer wrapped up a competitive season with a 3-2 region record and a 7-7 regular-season finish. The team showed incredible heart in the first round of the state tournament, battling into overtime before falling just short in a 2-1 loss to Trinity Christian. With a strong returning roster, the Rams are already looking ahead to next season with momentum.
Girls Soccer capped off their season with a memorable Senior Night win and a hard-fought showing in the first round of the state tournament against Calvary Day. The team’s growth and grit were evident all year long.
Baseball delivered another exciting season, finishing 6-7 in region play and 13-13 overall. Senior pitcher Joshua Wolkin, who helped lead the Rams to the Elite 8 last year, will continue his baseball career at Barton College. The team faced a tough matchup in King’s Ridge during the first round of state playoffs, playing with trademark Weber resilience.
Track & Field continues to shine this spring, setting numerous personal records across events and qualifying thirteen Rams for Sectionals. Sectional meet performances that are headed to State competition include:
Nuriel Shimoni-Stoil – 1st (tie) in 300m hurdles, 3rd in 110m hurdles
Elijah Clark – 8th in 400m dash
Nuriel Shimoni-Stoil, Elijah Clark, Zane Grosswald, and Joey Mekyten – 8th place in Boys 4x200m Relay

Golf wrapped up a strong showing at the Area 3 Private Tournament. Senior captain Zach Notte shot an even-par 72 at Sugar Hill Golf Club to become the Individual Area Champion and will advance to the State Tournament on May 19–20. Alex Harris also turned in an excellent performance, finishing in the Top 10 among girls competitors.
Boys Tennis had a terrific season, finishing 8-3 in regular-season play and advancing to the Sweet 16 of the GHSA State Tournament. The Rams pulled off a thrilling 3-2 upset over #16 Mount Pisgah before falling in a hard-fought match to #1 Darlington.
Girls Tennis also advanced to the Sweet 16 for the third consecutive year! Despite key injuries, the team, seeded #19, upset #14 Trinity Christian 3-2 before facing #3 Savannah Country Day in the next round. This marks the first time both boys and girls tennis teams have reached the Sweet 16 in the same season.
