Hamilton Choreographers Visit the Tzadik PAC

This week, thanks to Weber Theatre Director Brad Bass, students and faculty had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn directly from Hamilton musical tour members Tyler McKenzie and Nick Sanchez. McKenzie, a universal swing for Hamilton, and Sanchez, an actor in the Philips touring company, shared their vast expertise by teaching the choreography of the iconic song "My Shot" in the Tzadik Performing Arts Center.

Following the dance workshop, a reflective Q&A session allowed attendees to delve into the realities of life in professional theatre, covering everything from set design and travel demands to the exhilaration and challenges of life on tour.

As Weber actively develops future leaders in music and performing arts by offering unique #OnlyAtWeber experiences, our cutting-edge Tzadik Performing Arts Center plays a crucial role in transforming how music and performing arts education is delivered in a 21st-century Jewish high school.
